FAQ: How do people who need shelter find out about TIS?

Guests are generally referred to us by local service agencies, other local shelters that do not have space available, and sometimes the local police department or hospital.  Some find us on their own through word of mouth or internet search.  Potential guests must go through our admittance process prior to being accepted into the program.  In the rare event that someone does come to the door seeking shelter, staff and volunteers are instructed to provide them with Operation Manager Fran Doran’s business card so that they may go through the vetting process.
