We are fortunate to have support from every corner of our community.  Over 450 volunteers help provide supervision, meals, and fellowship for our guests at Easton’s Promise.

Our volunteer structure includes 31 teams, one for each day of the month.  Teams are comprised of religious partners, local organizations, neighbors, or even groups of friends.  Each team is responsible for providing supervision from 7-10 am, dinner at 5:30 pm, and supervision from 7-11 pm on their assigned day.

In addition, on Monday – Friday, we have volunteers who provide daytime supervision from 10am–1pm and 1-4 pm.  We also have volunteers who help with our events, grant writing, and other functions. Besides the amazing work they do for our community, the hundreds of wonderful people who volunteer for TIS also allow us to keep our costs as low as possible.  We estimate that they provide as much as $1 million worth of time and talent each year.

In addition, we have hundreds of amazing donors whose monetary and in-kind donations enable us to help our neighbors in need.

We also have supporters who organize fundraisers, projects, and supply drives for us.  Some examples include:

  • Concerts and other musical events
  • Yoga events
  • Athletic events
  • Projects for Easton’s Promise, such as creating our sustainable vegetable garden and rebricking our walkway
  • Food and supply drives
  • Hosting informational and fundraising events at their homes
  • …and more

Local businesses are also incredibly supportive of our organization, and help in various ways, including volunteering, donating meals and needed supplies, sponsoring our events, and holding their own events on our behalf.
