A Recipe for Love and Community Support
On this Team TIS Tuesday, we are grateful for a very special family and local partner of TIS who help make our mission of ending homelessness on the Mid-Shore possible! We are incredibly fortunate to have a community that rallies around our mission to provide safe, supportive housing for families and individuals in need. Among the many dedicated volunteers who make our work possible is the Meyerhoff family—Jill, Jack, Chloe, and Cole—who have been a shining example of what it means to give back.
For the Meyerhoffs, volunteering isn’t just an occasional act of kindness; it’s a tradition. Every month, Jill and Jack, along with their two children Chloe and Cole, prepare a delicious homemade dinner for the families residing at Easton’s Promise, our family shelter. This act of service is more than just cooking a meal—it’s a gesture of love, care, and community spirit that truly embodies TIS values.
From Kitchen to Shelter
Jill, the culinary heart of the family, takes the lead in the kitchen, and puts love into every dish she prepares. Chloe and Jack head over to Easton’s Promise to deliver the food, and the comfort of the families as who receive these home-cooked meals is a testament to the impact the Meyerhoffs have on our community.
Year-Round Appreciation
The Meyerhoff family’s dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. Their consistent support throughout the year helps us provide a warm, nurturing environment for our guests. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to our cause and their willingness to share their time, talent, and love with those in need.
Thank you, Meyerhoffs, for being such an integral part of the Talbot Interfaith Shelter family. Your monthly contributions make a world of difference, and we look forward to continuing this beautiful partnership for years to come.
