Homelessness Also Looks Like…

April is Fair Housing Month, and we are shining a spotlight on an ever-growing population of people who are now finding themselves facing homelessness. With the influx of people moving to the Eastern Shore, an already tight housing market has become even more challenging. There are very few houses to purchase, and even fewer to rent. Those that are available are being offered at exorbitant prices, making it difficult for people who have well-paying jobs to find a place to live.

Today, we are featuring two local women who are facing the possibility of becoming homeless if they do not find a new place to live soon.
