One of the most important parts of our S4 Program (Shelter, Stability, Support, Success) is the educational component. Guests attend classes and learn life skills that will help them remain successful once they graduate from TIS. In addition to our wonderful educational partners, we have hundreds of supporters with a wealth of knowledge and talent, and we decided to tap into that talent to create content that would be valuable for our guests, and the community at large. We intend for this virtual classroom to be a resource, not just during this difficult time, but in perpetuity.
If you have a talent or skill that you would like to share on our virtual classroom, contact Jayme at email@example.com or 443-786-4676!
In lieu of our in-person nutritional cooking classes, we have partnered with Mary Kay Tarpy of the University of Maryland Extension Program to provide online cooking tutorials for our guests!
Our wonderful friends at Character Counts are creating some great online content so the children in our community can keep up with the 6 Pillars: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship
