One of the most important parts of our S4 Program (Shelter, Stability, Support, Success) is the educational component. Guests attend classes and learn life skills that will help them remain successful once they graduate from TIS. Our virtual classroom contains lessons in addendum to our in-person classes, submitted by service and business partners, as well as our wonderful supporters!
If you have a talent or skill that you would like to share on our virtual classroom, contact Jayme at firstname.lastname@example.org or 443-786-4676!
In lieu of our in-person nutritional cooking classes, we have partnered with Mary Kay Tarpy of the University of Maryland Extension Program to provide online cooking tutorials for our guests!
Our friends at Carpe Diem Arts have created a wonderful virtual series in partnership with Brookletts Place and TCFL. Each month, they will present a concert designed to celebrate various heritages!
Our wonderful friends at Character Counts are creating some great online content so the children in our community can keep up with the 6 Pillars: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship
