Talbot Interfaith Shelter Sets Sights on Dover Road

Easton, Md.- For the past five years, the Talbot Interfaith Shelter has only been able to provide beds for five people in the months of December through March.  That capacity may be increasing soon, however.

Several abandoned homes sit on one lot together on Dover Road in Easton.  The lot has already been zoned properly for a shelter, and that’s what caught the sights of the TIS.  Volunteer John Clizbe says the shelter would be able to house numerous families and individuals while they work to get back on their feet.
