On this Team TIS Tuesday, we are introducing Will and Bryan, two guests at Evelyn’s Place! These two brothers have been working hard in the S4 Program to brush up their money management and computer skills, and are known for their enthusiasm in keeping things neat, tidy and running smoothly around the shelter.
As Will puts it, “it’s scary looking for a job out there after being in the same place for 20-30 years”, so the brothers have been putting in the time building their computer literacy at the job center under the guidance of the TIS case managers. Will also speaks highly of the shelter’s “money management workshops on Thursday, [that] make you realize where you messed up and how you can fix it”.
Bryan says “I know right now I’m safe…right now I try to set little goals that I can try to accomplish”. They both share the goal of eventually finding a camper that they can use to explore the United States together!
Keep it up, Will and Bryan! You can do it!!
