Lisa’s professional journey includes roles as a police sergeant and a correctional officer, alongside her extensive background in operations management. With a robust background in law enforcement, Lisa brings a unique perspective to her role here at TIS. Her experience spans healthcare and technology, and her professional efforts in these demanding environments have honed her leadership skills and instilled in her a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, crisis management, and the importance of fostering empathy in all interactions.
In a recent conversation, Lisa shared a powerful insight: “It is always good to try and understand someone’s struggles because it will set an individual up for empathy. Such behavior allows for subtracting judgement along for a means of a kinder heart, mind, and spirit.” This commitment to empathy-driven leadership is at the core of Lisa’s approach and aligns perfectly with Team TIS’s values.
