Tuesday is our favorite day of the week, because we get to introduce you to some of the amazing people who make up Team TIS! On this Team TIS Tuesday, we are shining a spotlight on the incomparable Ann Davis! Ann has been a TIS volunteer since 2010, when she signed up to help through her church, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Easton. Ann is now a longtime member of our Board of Directors. She is one of the most dedicated human beings we have ever met.
Whether it’s providing supervision at one of our shelters, helping stuff envelopes, writing thank you notes, helping to set up for a fundraising event, or really anything that involves helping TIS, Ann is always on the case. One of the things she enjoys most is getting to know the guests – and especially watching the children at Easton’s Promise fleurish during their time there.
When asked why she is such an ardent supporter of our mission, she replied, “Some people might think I’m altruistic, but really I’m very self-centered. I like to help people and Talbot Interfaith Shelter feeds my soul.”
