Walk of Lights and Downtown Easton Decorating Contest!

Our beautiful Walk of Lights returned for a second year!  This year’s walk led from the Hummingbird Inn down Aurora, Goldsborough, and Dover Streets, leading the way into Downtown Easton.

Members of our community sponsored our luminary bags, leaving messages of hope, inspiration, and holiday cheer for their neighbors to read as they strolled into downtown.

Rain damaged most of our luminaries during our second weekend, but we were able to save some and display them at the Hummingbird Inn for the remainder of the event!

This year, we decided to make the holidays even brighter with our Downtown Decorating Contest!  We invited downtown residents and businesses to decorate for the holidays.  YOU got to vote for your favorite decorations by making any size donation to TIS.  Every dollar counted as one vote, and the business and house that received the most votes each received a $100 Downtown Easton Gift Card and dinner at Hunter’s Tavern at the Tidewater Inn!

Our winners were:
Vintage Books & 111 Goldsborough Street

Visit our decorating contest page to meet all of our 2021 contestants and see their beautiful holiday decorations!
