For All Seasons Partnership Expansion

In some of our recent communications, we mentioned that we had plans to expand our partnership with For All Seasons.  We are very excited to share the details of this expansion with you today!

For many years, we have worked with For All Seasons (FAS) to provide mental health screening and counseling for all of the guests in our program.  Last month, we engaged with FAS to add to our educational programming.

As part of our extended partnership, FAS will be providing bi-monthly parenting classes for all of the moms and dads in our program.  During these sessions, participants will learn the importance of positive and nurturing relationships with children, gain the skills and knowledge to promote positive parent-child interactions, and have the opportunity to discuss parenting challenges in a supportive and confidential environment.

In addition, or partnership with For All Seasons now includes mental health training.  Every guest in our program (both shelters and our apartments) will attend a 4-session Mental Health Awareness class to gain a core understanding of metal health and wellness, discuss topics of interest to them, and learn basic mental health skills, including how to ask for help when it is needed.

In addition to this wonderful training for our guests, FAS educators will be facilitating a 2-session training for our staff entitled Mental Health 101 for Service Providers, and an additional 2-session program for our Board of Directors and key staff entitled Governing from a Trauma-Informed Lens

We are extremely proud to partner with this incredible organization.  They are helping us to ensure both that our guests have the skills they need to build successful lives, and that our leadership has the information they need to keep the health and wellbeing of our guests at the forefront of their decision-making.
