Shelter news this month:
We have admitted a family of two and one single individual into our program!
We are very proud to announce that we have hired one of our almost-graduates as an office assistant! She has been volunteering with us for many months, helping Fran organize Thanksgiving and Christmas along with many other tasks, and we are thrilled to welcome her onto our staff. She and her family have come so far, and are a wonderful example of how guests can embrace all that our S4 Program (Shelter, Stability, Support, Success) has to offer and go on to do wonderful things!
Although we had to temporarily suspend our volunteer supervision program, our amazing teams continue to provide dinner for the guests in the shelter each night. Joyce tells us that dinner has become the focal point of the day while our guests are self-isolating, and that these meals give everyone something positive to look forward to. We are so blessed!
