
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month – All of November
November 1 - November 30

In honor of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month, we have partnered with several local businesses and organizations to help raise awareness for our mission and how Talbot Interfaith Shelter helps our neighbors overcome homelessness by providing Shelter, Stability, Support, and a path to Success. Here’s how you can help!
- Dine at Legal Spirits or Doc’s Downtown Grille on Thursdays this month, and a portion of the proceeds from your meal will be donated to Talbot Interfaith Shelter!
- Drop off household items for our shelters and apartments at one of the following collection sites:
- Bay Vanguard Bank (501 Idlewild Avenue, Easton)
- Brookletts Place – Talbot Senior Center (400 Brookletts Avenue, Easton)
- Eastern Shore Print Ship Connect (210 Marlboro Avenue, Easton)
- Mid-Atlantic Tire Pros (8105 Teal Drive, Easton)
- M&T Bank (223 Glebe Road, Easton)
- PNC Bank (104 Marlboro Avenue, Easton)
- Psychedelic Bubble (St. Michaels Village Shopping Center, St. Michaels)

- Walmart (8155 Elliott Road, Easton)
Household Items Include: Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Allergy/Cold Medicine – for adults and children; Antiseptic Cream; Laundry Detergent – hypoallergenic, sheets are great; Dish Washing Soap – for both machine and hand washing; Anti-Persperant – for men and women; Dryer Sheets – hypoallergenic; Paper Towels; Toilet Paper; Counter Wipes; Floor Cleaners – for both tile and wood, low scent; Endust/Pledge; Trash Bags – 13 gallon and 30 gallon; Aluminum Foil; Saran Wrap
- Drop off baby items for our shelters and apartments at one of the following collection sites:

Baby Items Include: Diapers – size 6 and 7, as well as Pull-Ups; Baby Wipes
